Friday Night Crafting!!

Yes, I know that it Sunday, but after being out sick from school for three days because of some sort of flu virus thing I have been so caught up with makeup work I forgot to post this. Anywho, here's the post.

This was probably one of the easiest DIYs I have done. I painted just a normal white fake pumpkin with teal paint (I did two coats) and waited for it to dry. After that I made my monogram online and cut it out so I could use it as a template. Then I made a mix of Elmer's glue and Mod Podge and painted it over my template and sprinkled it with a mix of gold and silver glitter. As soon as I dumped off the excess glitter I peeled off the template and used a damp paper towel to clean up the edges a little bit.

It was so easy and looks great!

White Pants After Labor Day?!?

Okay, I need y'alls opinion on something... are white pants after labor day okay? I've always gone strictly by the white pants only between memorial day and labor day but I've noticed more and more people still wearing them. I personally feel like it is just too summery for this time. I don't know I think you can probably still get away with wearing them for the rest of September but once October rolls around you really should pack them away for the year. What do y'all think?

What a Perfect Fall Day

Let me just say one thing to start, junior year is so stressful. Oh my gosh, I never realized how much homework it is possible to get until this year. I seriously feel like me entire life is taken up with school and homework. Well I have finally found a free moment and figured I really should post something! So I decided to post what to me is the perfect fall outfit.

My favorite colors for fall is anything red, maroon, brown, or navy. Flannel shirts are the absolute perfect thing to wear when you want to be comfortable but not look like a total bum. Riding boots are my staple for fall they instantly make whatever you are wearing just a little bit more classy. I love matching longchamps with what I am wearing and you can't go wrong with a Barbour vest. Of course what is an outfit without pearls or a statement necklace and this necklace is the perfect combination of both!

Homecoming

So I know it has been forever since I have posted but I have been so busy with school!! Well this past week has been homecoming and on Saturday was the dance, so I thought I would post a pic of what I wore :)

So this is what I wore. It took me forever to find a dress, I literally went to 4 malls and spent an entire day searching for a dress (yes I live within 45 minutes of 6 malls, my mom refused to go to more then 4). And my best friend Krissy did my hair, it was an updo, and I loved it.
