Photo: You’ve TWEETED. You’ve LIKED. You’ve COMMENTED. It’s ALMOST here. How often is Lilly not full price… ummm… essentially NEVER!? Read our FAQs &
tips on the blog so you are ready to shop the #lillyonlinesale beginning at 8 AMish EST on Monday. Get sale savvy: http://po.st/saletips
So, today like so many others I was up at 7am to be prepared for the Lilly Pulitzer Endless Summer Sale. I found a dress I liked within a few minutes but of course could not add it to my cart. Finally around 12 (4 hours later) and after the site had shut down I was finally able to order the dress. Around 2 this afternoon after I decompressed from the morning's shopping and after watching a couple of NCIS episodes I was ready to go back on the site. Of course by then most of the good stuff was gone, but I managed to order a Murfette Scarf.
FINAL SALE - Payton Dress
Payton Dress in New Green Everything Nice. The original price for this dress was $348 and I got it for $59!! Major bargain, right?!?
FINAL SALE - Murfette Scarf- Delta Delta Delta
Next I bought the Murfette Scarf in Shorely Blue Delta Delta Delta. Now this was one of the few scarves left so I didn't have much to choose from, but I just love these colors. Although it is technically part of the sorority collection you can barely see the three Deltas in the pattern. It cost $29 and was usually $78.

All in all I bought two things for $88 and saved $338. I'm super happy with my purchases and hope everyone's day of shopping went well.

P.S. If you haven't checked the sale out, there's still a lot left!

My Shopping Escapades

This week, has been back to school shopping for me. Last Sunday I headed to the outlets and got a bunch of cute stuff from the J. Crew Factory Store (everything was 40% and it was tax free here) and a pair of shorts from the Vineyard Vines Outlet (40% off here too)
J.Crew
Clare Cardigan
Factory V-Neck Sweater
Factory Patterned Oxford Button- Down Shirt
Factory Artist Boatneck in Mixed Stripe
Vineyard Vines Dayboat Shorts

In addition that little shopping trip I headed to Lilly and Vineyard Vines. For my birthday I got a Lilly agenda but unfortunately it was not in the pattern I wanted, so I wanted to go exchange it and let me tell you that was an ordeal. I always think the workers at Lilly stores are always so nice and this just furthers my point. When we got to Lilly someone greeted as soon as we walked in and asked if we needed help, I told her that I wanted to exchange my agenda for one in Tiger Lily. The employee helping me looked for it (it wasn't out) but they of course didn't have it; the manager at that point had come over to help us too (the store was empty) and she suggested ordering it. She went on the Lilly website and low and behold it was sold out there too. She then proceeded to call about three other stores to see if they had any in stock, finally one did and they will be mailing it to be shortly. This whole ordeal could have been painful but the nice ladies working at Lilly made the whole thing easy. After that we walked down to Vineyard Vines and I finally invested in a shep shirt.
I got the overdyed shep shirt in Bahama Breeze and I love it. The best part too is that Vineyard Vines offers a military discount of 15% making it less expensive then I thought.

Naughty Nautical

As my other nail polish begins to chip, I've  been looking for a new color to replace. I'm sick of all the colors I have so at a trip to Ulta today I found my favorite new color. And the name is if you haven't guessed it yet, is.... Naughty Nautical.

I just feel like this is such a pretty summer color, it's bright, happy, and reminds me of a mermaid. What better way to kick of August then a new color on the nails!
